Obituary of Teresa Hopkins Joyner

Teresa Hopkins Joyner, 56, of Stokesdale, NC passed away peacefully Monday November 4, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Sunday November 10, 2019 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 3708 Ellisboro Road, Stokesdale, NC 27357 with Rev. Philip C. Kuntz officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

A native of Rockingham County, NC, Teresa was the wife of Larry Joyner and the daughter of Leroy Hopkins and the late, Frances Maxcy Laing.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of the home; father, Leroy Hopkins of Kernersville, NC; and sisters, Lora McMichael and husband, Jerry of Stokesdale, NC, and Sheila Gordon of Stokesdale, NC.

In addition to her mother, Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Stafford.
