To all surviving family and friends, my deepest heartfelt condolences. Jamie, Stan, and I had some fun as kids. One day we were fishing and I contracted an allergic reaction to poison ivy. My face really ballooned out and Jamie never let me hear the end of it even up to this day. Our interaction on Facebook was a lot of fun too. Love ya bud and I'll see you in 'glory'.

Jamie was working for US Airways at their network hub in Winston-Salem in the 90's when I first met him. He was one of my mentors when I first got hired, and soon became a good friend. Our position there had the potential of being highly stressful, especially when you were faced with trouble-shooting and reviving entire computer systems over the phone for airports that were experiencing extreme difficulties... But you NEVER saw Jamie get upset or have a bad day, EVER.
Eventually I introduced Jamie to my family and in particular my father, Gene Ingram. My Dad thought very highly of him, as well, and even hired him to do some work for his Photography Studio business. Years have passed, since I last saw Jamie, but we found ways of keeping in contact and communicating on Facebook. I always looked forward to hearing from him, reading his comments, and seeing the funny jokes & cartoons that he posted. He brought joy to many people without even knowing it. It breaks my heart when I realize that he is gone now... And my love and condolences go out to his family. He will surely be missed by many!

Jamie was my first friend in NC back in 1988 and we become close friends quickly. He always made me laugh, protected and teased me like a big brother and was always there for me. A true friend. There are too many stories to relay about Jamie, we had so many good times together. I’m so blessed to have all those great memories. He will be missed. Love you big brother. May you be at peace now.

As I'm sitting in my office, I received a 'I can't believe it call' from a long time business friend girlfriend Loretta to inform me of James passing away.
James was one of those people that I always looked forward to speaking with. He retired due to some health issues, yet always attending my training calls week after week and year after year.
We text just recently and I asked, when are you getting back in the field and knocking on doors and James replied real soon Joe.
My condolences and prayers to Loretta, Cameron and family.

Dear Cameron,Sharon ,Marty,&Stan I am so sorry to of heard of James unexpected passing. As you are all aware,James & I go back fifty years & the stories we compiled are voluminous. I will cherish the great times we had as I come to grips with the void left by losing him. We spoke a couple weeks ago & laughed as we always did & at the end of every call we would Say we loved each other. Little did we know that would be our final goodbye. The days of hunting, partying, double dating, etc.etc. I will try & use to help me get through the loss of one of my best friends. May you all find comfort in the great times you also had with James. R.I.P. my brother. I love you !

One of my best friends thru the years albeit long distance much of the time. We had much in common and We always picked up where we left off whether a week or 3 months between visits. Some of my best memories of my hunting youth was with him, Stan and his dad uncle Al. I always regretted life kept us apart. He was smart and had an entrepreneurial spirit and a as always positive with me even though these last few years dealt him a rough time. He was a right thinking kind of guy. Love and miss you Jamie.
