Obituary of Margaret Parsons

Kernersville-Margaret Comer Parsons, 94, went home to be with her Lord February 21, 2012. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday February 25, 2012 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phil Kirkman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Calla Talent and Mack Comer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Carlton Ray Parsons; brothers Mack Comer Jr. and Charles Comer; sisters Carolyn Hollingsworth, Nancy Roddy, Sarah Sykes, and Mary Byrd. A lifelong member of Shady Grove Wesleyan Church, Margaret is survived by one daughter Cynthia Clark of Kernersville; three sisters Peggy McGee of Colfax, Pat Binkley and Myra Pearman both of Kernersville; daughter-in-law Jean Parsons of Randleman; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends Friday February 24, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville.
