Kernersville-Myrtle Butcher Echols, 63, went home to be with her Lord March 20, 2012.Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Friday March 23, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Randolph County, Myrtle was the daughter of the late Myrtle Melissa McCraw and Seaborn Bryant Butcher. She had worked for a number of years at Seamcraft Furniture in High Point. She absolutely loved her companions Fancy and Miss Kitty. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lee Echols, Sr., sisters Ruby Younger, Juanita Gordon, Lib Proctor, Fairy Poage, Edna Younger, brother William Paul Butcher, and her daughter Amy Michelle Doss. Survivors include her sisters Ethel Smith and Larry of Trinity, and Jean Laws and James of Kernersville; stepdaughter Lisa Beasley and Mark; stepson Jimmy Echols, Jr. and Karen; grandchildren Leslie, David, Angel, Sierra, and Sophie; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will visit with friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
