Obituary of A. Bledsoe

Kernersville-A.J. Bledsoe, 79, died April 10, 2012 in Cambridge, Illinois. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory. A native of Surry County, A. J. was the son of the late Ida Lou Brindle and Henderson Harim Bledsoe. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his sons Garry and Jerry Bledsoe. He was retired from the textile industry, but loved working on cars. Survivors include his wife Earline Jessica Singleton Bledsoe; sons Alex Bledsoe and Kenneth Bledsoe both of Walkertown; five grandchildren Abby, Beth, Kaitlyn, Christian, and Lochlan; sisters Dorothy and Linda, and brother Marvin Bledsoe. The family will visit with friends from 10:00AM Tuesday until time for the service at the funeral home.
