Obituary of Peggy Love Cox

Kernersville-Peggy Love Morris Cox, went home to be with her Lord August 13, 2012. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Saturday August 18, 2012 at Pisgah United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Haidee Love Elliott and James Shade Morris. She graduated from the former High Point College with a degree in education. She was a school teacher in the Forsyth County School System until her retirement. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and was the organist at one time. Survivors include her sons Glenn Michael Cox, Jr. of Oviedo, Florida, and Alan Brent Cox of Kernersville; grandchildren Garrett Cox, Jordan Cox, Trevor Cox, and Halle Cox all of Oviedo, Florida, and Sarah Grace Cox and Jacob Cox both of Orlando, Florida; brother James Shade Morris, Jr. and Beth of Boone. The family will visit with friends from 5-7pm Friday evening August 17, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
