Obituary of Russell Hunter

Summerfield- Russell Leroy Hunter, Jr., 59, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2012. Retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant, Russell was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A funeral service celebrating Russell’s life will be held on Sunday October 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. The son of the late Russell Leroy Hunter, Sr. and Esther Marie Long, Russell was also preceded in death by his brother, Brian Keith Hunter and sister, Cheryl Ann Hunter. He is survived by his wife, Lala Hunter of the home; daughter Cheryl Hunter Bennett and Matthew James Bennett of Summerfield; granddaughter Hannah Marie Bennett; sister, Janice VonCannon, brother, David Allen Hunter and several loving nieces and nephews. The family will visit with friends on Saturday October 20, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel.
