Obituary of Shirley Stafford

Mrs. Shirley Faye Stafford, 62, of Greensboro, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Stafford was born August 9, 1948, in Greensboro, to the late John and Betty Avant Burroughs. She retired from Bell South and loved toll painting and working with flowers. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Stafford is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David Stafford; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Harvell, of Asheboro; son, Darren (Viktoriya) Stafford, of Greensboro; grandsons, Garrett and Carson; sisters, Debra Dodson, of Brown Summit, Sheila Wall, of Greensboro, Pam Burroughs, of Eden; brothers, Johnny Burroughs, of Greensboro, and Wayne Burroughs, of Stokesdale.
