Obituary of Cathy Irwin

Ms Cathy Hawks Irwin, 45, of Greensboro, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Rodney Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Cathy was born June 22, 1966, in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Donald M. Irwin, Sr. and Frances S. Irwin. She was a determined and loving person, and was loved by all. Her greatest love was her children and eating M&Ms. She was an Avon rep and enjoyed it although she was handicapped. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Irwin Jr. Cathy is survived by her mother, Frances S. Irwin; son, Josh Hawks; daughter, Jodie Hawks; granddaughter, Madison; sister, Cheryl Dodd; special friend, Wesley Justice and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
