Obituary of Mabel MacDonald

Mrs. Mabel MacDonald, age 98 passed away June 6, 2010 at Shannon Gray Rehabilitation and Recovery Center in Jamestown. Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday June 12, 2010 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel with Revered George Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Rural Cemetery in Corinth, New York. Mrs. MacDonald was born November 21, 1911 in Meriden, Conn to Albert Glenford and Daisy Morgan Lewis. When she wasn't looking for new recipes or cooking something delicious, Mabel enjoyed her bowling leagues at Gate City Lanes. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Horace MacDonald and a sister Alyce Lewis Higgins. Survivors include four nieces Dorothy Kreher, Sylvia Beck, Eunice Meadows, Gloria Beck and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
