Pauline Nelson

Obituary of Pauline Angela Nelson

Pauline Angela Nelson was born on September 28,1949 to Angel and Rose Mojica in Dixon, New Mexico. Her family moved to Utah where she attended Kearns High School. It was soon after she met the love of her life and husband of 53 years, Danny Nelson. They made their home in South Jordan, Utah where they raised three children, and had six beautiful grandchildren. Her family was always number one in her life.

She was a rockstar on the dance floor, a dead eye at the gun club and She never met a slot machine she didn’t win!

She was our number one fan at any baseball game (the best score keeper), wrestling match, rodeo, softball game, volleyball game and cheerleading competition!

Pauline passed away on May 13, 2024, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Dad, thank you for the love, support and care you gave mom over the years.

Mary and Jacob, we cannot thank you enough for the care you have provided the last few years. GMA loved your bond, the trips to the nail salon and your companionship… We are forever grateful.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Edsel and Mary Nelson and sister Elba Mojica.

She is survived by her husband Danny; children, Dani, Julie, and Burke (Megan); six grandchildren, Pepper Hansen (Savannah), Mary Caitlin (Jacob), Copper Hansen (Juliette), Willow Breeze, Danika Nelson, and Mckall Nelson; and siblings, Lorraine Mojica, Julia Mojica, and Michael Mojica.

There will be a Celebration of Life this summer at their home in South Jordan.
