Obituary of Mr. Arless Andrew Loggins

Mr. Arless Andrew Loggins, 100, of Lexington, NC passed away peacefully Thursday, May 9, 2024.

 

A native of Forsyth County, NC, Arless was the husband of Margaret Loggins and the son of Leffie Andrew Loggins and Amelia Hinshaw Loggins, both deceased. Arless was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. He was a truck driver for more than 30 years, and later owned and operated Map Supply, Inc.

 

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; daughters, Linda Faye Elliott, Linda Kaye Lockhart and husband, C. W., and Pamela Parrish and husband, Bob; son, Thomas Andrew “Tom” Loggins, Sr. and wife, Freida; eleven grandchildren, Tazma Bright and husband, Gerry, Amber Autry and husband, Paul, Thomas Andrew “Tommy” Loggins, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Niki Swartz, Patricia Mason, Christian Goodman and husband, Mike, Melissa Hoosier and husband, David, Heather Branch, Andrew Staton, Bobby Parrish and wife, Edy, and Tracy Reeves and husband, Kevin; twenty-two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and sister, Dormalee Tucker.

 

In addition to his parents, Arless was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

 

The family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services, Kernersville, NC

 

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston-Salem, NC.
