Obituary of Janet Fisher

Our sweet Janet left this Earth on May 12, 2023 after a long and courageous battle against cancer.  Janet was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 26, 1958 to Peter and Mary Mahler.  The family moved to North Carolina in 1963, living primarily in High Point.  Janet graduated from UNC-G and several years later began working in the family business, PAM Trading Corporation, where she spent 40 years.

Janet loved her family, friends and her dogs.  She was one of the most generous people you could ever meet. Janet was quite the chef and was known to host the best parties!  She never met a stranger and leaves many wonderful friends behind.

Janet was predeceased by her father Peter.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years Wayne and her beloved fur baby Scooter, mother Mary Mahler, sister Punkin (Alan) Parker, nephew Alan A. (Kenzie) Parker, great nephew Curren Parker, sister-in-law Sherri (Todd) Elder, niece Alexis Elder, nephew Michael (Jillie) Elder, many cousins and many dear friends!  We can all smile knowing that Janet and Peter are together sharing a bottle of wine and looking down on us.
