Obituary of Beverly Lewis Myers

Beverly Lewis Myers passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on April 30, 2023.

 

Beverly lived in Guilford County her entire life, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Joyce (St John) Lewis and the youngest of nine siblings. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved God and her family. Her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life. Beverly worked in different occupations including housecleaning and as a daycare teacher. But her favorite job was taking care of her family.

 

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Tony Myers; son, Roger Dan Harris Jr.; four brothers, Donald, George, William, and Jerry Lewis; and one sister, Louise Brown.

 

Beverly is survived by her two children, Ronald D. Harris (Debbie) and Krystal Blandford (Chris); three grandchildren, Emily Harris (Jaron), Dennis Steiner, and Aiden Steiner; two great-grandchildren, Raven and Journey; three siblings, Evelyn, Roy, and Ronald; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Baptist Church on Thursday, May 4th from 6:00 to 8:00PM.  Funeral services will be at the Bethel Baptist Church on Friday, May 5th at 10AM with Pastor Steve Gunter officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the American Kidney Fund.
