Obituary of Catherine Diane Rogers

Catherine Diane Rogers, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away on October 13, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  A native of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Georgianna (Lawson) Youse and wife of Robert Rogers.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Robert Rogers; her son, Darrell Fulp; her grandchildren, Jamie Moore (Sierra Nicole) and daughter, Jason Dowell and children, Diamond Douglas (Dante) and children; her siblings, Joetta Dorsett of Greensboro, NC, Marie Drayden of Long Beach, CA, and Edna McMarry of Greensboro, NC; and her in-laws, Henry Harris (Bernice Haggard) and children of Vicksburg, MS, Ernest Rogers (Mae Gibson) and children of Port Gibson, MS, Margaret (Willie) Rankin and children of Vicksburg, MS, Irene Harris and children of Vicksburg, MS, and Queen Harris (Calvin Horton) and son of Vicksburg, MS.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeannette Dalton, and Samuel Youse, Sr..

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service on October 20, 2022 from 6:00PM  -  8:00AM.  Graveside funeral services will be at Bethel Cemetery located at Lowes Memorial Holiness Church, 8600 Haw River Rd., Oak Ridge, NC 27310 on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00AM with Rev. Gregory Cole officiating.  A reception will follow from 12:30PM-3:30PM at the Palace Events Center, 3704 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
