Obituary of William Lee Joyce

Mr. William Lee Joyce, 100, of Greensboro, died Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital. Mr. Joyce was born June 30, 1922 to the late William Aster and Clara Joyce. He served in the US Army Air Force during World War II. He regularly attended Palm Street Christian Church in Greensboro. He loved the Lord and his earthly family. He was a longtime employee of North State Chevrolet. When he was able, he loved to travel to the coast and surf fish.

In addition to his parents Mr. Joyce was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Joyce, granddaughter, Anne Marie Davison, son- in- law, Gene Bozarth.
He is survived by his loving daughters; Elizabeth Bozarth, and Anne Correll (Mike), grandchildren, Gene Bozarth Jr., and Laura Odria (Manuel) 3 great-grandchildren;  4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM September 7, 2022 at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel, prior to the service. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM September 7, 2022, at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel, with Pastor Don Clement officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Palm Street Christian Church.
