Obituary of John Thomas Dunning

John Thomas Dunning III, 50, of Mcleansville passed away on July 31, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he was the son of John Thomas Dunning Jr. and Donna Gaye Ford Dunning.

John graduated Northwest High School as part of the class of '89 and worked at UPS as a driver for many years. He was a wonderful, caring man that instilled values of honesty and open-mindedness in his family. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

John is survived by his children, Thomas Dunning and Megan Dunning; his sisters, Pam Lowdermilk and husband, Tommy, Patti Meadows and husband, Mike, and Paula Cook; his former spouse and friend, Wendy Dunning; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Thomas Dunning Sr. and wife, Geraldine, and Florence Ford and husband, Lawrence.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, 530 Dobson St, Kernersville, NC 27284 with Pastor Phil Hulen officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, 530 Dobson St, Kernersville, NC 27284.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Fellowship Hall, 140 Dunstan Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405 in lieu of flowers.
