Obituary of Jean Marie Walsh Thomas

Mrs. Jean Marie Walsh Thomas, 95, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Sunday, June 12, 2022.

A native of Brockton, MA, Jean was the wife of the late Linwood Thomas and the daughter of John Walsh and Mary Riley Walsh, both deceased. She worked many years as a bank teller before retirement. Jean loved to smile and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing BINGO and Mania.

Survivors include her daughters, Eileen Leonard of Durham, NH, and Susan Thompson of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, Timothy Leonard and wife, Robin, John Leonard and wife, Bianca, B. Joseph Dubbs and wife, Kristy, Patrick Dubbs and wife, Kirsten, and Joshua Dubbs and husband, Will; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary Ann Thomas; sister, Constance Schild; and brother, John Walsh.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
