To my best friend, Patty ... We can't believe you've left us so soon. We didn't expect this to happen. There are so many memories to share ... Your trip to Hawaii with us where the locals thought you were my sister and embraced you with all their love and aloha. We talked about that trip for many years after. My son, Tim, and I in your wedding party. What a blast we had! Danced the night away. Going to the Shamrock and all the lunches we had working in Stamford together. Being with you and Wendy either in your apartment or in our condo. Meeting my upstairs neighbor, Gene Jackson, and going out on your first date with him. Who knew you'd end up falling in love and marrying him. When we adopted Tim as a baby, you were the first person to board the plane and pick him up from his seat. They needed volunteers to go on and bring the babies off due to really bad weather. Parents weren't allowed onboard! You really bonded with him forever. And Holly arrived in Philadelphia when you were living there so you got to meet her first as well at your apt. Birthdays, holidays and special events were always celebrated with you and Gene ... our adopted family! So many memories for Baron and I and these memories are and always be planted in our hearts! Aloha oe', Patty ... until we meet again.
