My wife and I are very saddened to learn of Trey's passing. I worked with him at the Lookout Mountain Terminal before he transferred to Griffin Ga. and then to Greensboro NC. We used to talk many times by phone before I retired, I think of Trey at least once a week because of the many trips I make past his old house on Sawyer Pike going to our grandchildren's house on Signal Mountain. Trey was a great person to work with, and was always a pleasant person to be around. He always took time to visit when someone came around the terminal. I remember my grandson and I visiting him at the Greensboro Terminal after a Nascar race in Martinsville, and how he took time out of his busy schedule to visit with us. Prayers to your family and friends for your loss. Trey will be remembered by all for a long time.

I got to know Trey doing contract work through his terminal at Transmontaigne. He was one of the few people that could in fact tell you how to do your job better than you. Always with the questions that you didn't know if he was curious or if he in fact knew the answer and was going to use it as a teachable moment. He was for sure one ot my favorite people that I had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Thoughts and prayers to your family, so sorry for your loss.

We find ourselves struggling to find the words to express how very sad we are about Trey. We cannot fathom the grief your family is experiencing and we wish we could relieve some of the pain and suffering. Trey was an incredible influence in so many lives. He molded and effected Daryll in so many positive ways. We are forever grateful we had the opportunity to say we knew him. We send thoughts and prayers from our family to yours during this troubling time. The Freeman Family

To the Rhodes family: Josiah and I were deeply saddened with the news of Treys passing. Although we only had a few personal encounters, they were nothing short of amazing. Trey was a light to the community, but especially to his employees and their families. He showed immense kindness to my family- from making a commitment to being at my wedding to sending my little boy gifts after his arrival- for that we will always be grateful. I’m glad to be able to say we were able to know him. Trey was an outstanding boss to my dad, friend of the family, and overall human being- though his earthly time was cut all too short, he is now home safe in the arms of our lord. I hope you find peace in knowing that his earthly sufferings are now healed and he is patiently waiting for his family to join him when their time comes. I hope you know my family is wrapping you in love, comfort and prayers. From our family to yours- Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Semper Fidelis. -The Torrijos Family
