Obituary of Michael Aaron Hartness

Mr. Michael Aaron Hartness, 55, of Walnut Cove, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022, after a 2-year battle with cancer.  

Survivors include his wife, June and daughter, Hannah of the home; mother-in-law Donna Hollis; sisters, Leisa Russum and husband Butch, Vickie Wilkes, Patricia Bovender and husband David; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.  

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Mabel Hartness.  

A memorial service will be held at Pierce Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville, NC on Sunday at 3 p.m. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m.
