Obituary of June Dianne Agee

June Dianne Danner Agee, 77, of Kernersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

A native of Forsyth County, North Carolina, she was born on December 16, 1944, and was raised by the late Thelma Danner Robbs. June worked for AT&T and Analog Devices, and retired from both places with many years of faithful service. June accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and placed him first in her life. She enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation, especially in the springtime when the flowers were in bloom, and she could enjoy the hummingbirds. She married the love of her life, Terry Edward Agee on July 3, 1989. She loved her family, and strived to always do the very best that she could for them. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are, her husband of 32 years, Terry Edward Agee of the home; son, Gregory Dean Thompson (Donna) of Rockwell; granddaughter, Christinia Thompson of Winston-Salem; grandson, Xander Anderson of Rockwell; great-grandchildren, Carmen, Adalyn, and Ariana; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate June’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in the chapel at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Gur Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
