Obituary of Justin Lane Walls

Justin Lane Walls came into this world on 8-8-03 and received his angel wings on 12-17-21.

Justin leaves behind his PawPaw and Grammy (Larry & Abbie Walls) who had the privilege of raising him lovingly for 18 years. He leaves behind his Aunt Jennifer (JenJen) and Uncle Philip Watson, along with his cousins Addison and Kaide Watson and Chloe, Brylee, and Noah Vaught. Justin also leaves behind many family and friends who adored and loved him. Justin was a proud graduate of Carter High School. He was the comedian of the family. Justin was quick-witted and never held back what he was thinking, leading to numerous laughs and stories that we will continue to share in our lifetime. Justin’s life was short but full. He loved many things like Lego’s, antiques, cars and trucks, rocks, birds, snacks and let us not forget his 2021 passion of DQ Blizzards. He also acquired 4 new pet chickens this year thanks to Make-A-Wish, named Stancil, Brenda, Ruby and Rosie. Justin fought hard this year battling brain cancer, what a warrior he was. Our comfort in his absence is knowing he is healed and with our Lord in heaven. Until we meet again, we will keep Justin’s memory alive with the abundance of love for him that is deeply rooted within our hearts.

A graveside funeral service celebrating Justin’s life will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Gardens of Memory Walkertown with Rev. Steve Roberson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Justin Walls Recreation Fund at C. Douglas Carter High School, 851 Highland Court, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. This fund will allow people to donate money to purchase recreational equipment for students. The adapted equipment will allow students the opportunity to take part in hobbies, sports, recreation, the arts, and other interests outside of academics or work.
