Obituary of James Benton "Jimmie" Woodard

James “Jimmie” Woodard – 68, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Jimmie was born September 10, 1953 in Milledgeville, Georgia, to the late L.A. Woodard and Anna K. (Fisher) Woodard.

He enjoyed working on automobiles.   Jimmie started at the age of 16 as a Mechanic and worked until his retirement in 2014.   He was an avid YouTube watcher.   He worked most of his career for Jack Hedrick Auto Sales.

In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his loving wife Rita (Dillon) Woodard in 2016, and 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Danyelle Collins (husband Jim) and Jamey Woodard.   5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.   Numerous nieces and nephews as well as his special long-time friend, his dog Little Man.
